Nuf Said is the project of the Chicago Youth Voices Network dedicated to creating a public forum for the important perspectives and experiences of Chicago youth.
I. Overarching goals – The goals of the Youth 2.0 Recovery Reporting Project are:
1) Impact on key stakeholders: Increase public knowledge and awareness of how the economic recovery is affecting the health and well-being of Chicago’s youth and to focus the attention of key stakeholders on issues as seen from a youth perspective;
2) Organizational development: Increase the capacity of CYVN organizations to harness youth-centered digital strategies (podcasting, Facebook games, Twitter, video remix, online mapping, text messaging and video blogging) in polling, reporting, dissemination and engagement;
3) Innovate a model: Create a template for city-wide, open-source data sharing, participatory youth media collaboration that can be employed as a model of best practices for youth media and journalism on a national scale.
